Lekkerland appoints Dr. Jochen Großpietsch as new Chief Supply Chain Officer
Dr. Jochen Großpietsch (41) has been appointed Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) at Lekkerland AG & Co. KG. He succeeds Kay Schiebur in this post. KG Executive Board includes Chief Financial Officer Dr. Edgar Lange.Dr. Jochen Großpietsch studied business administration at the University of Cologne and the ESADE in Barcelona and obtained his Master's in International Management in the year 2000. He then began his 17-year career at McKinsey & Compa-ny, initially as a consultant at their Cologne office. The Bonn native moved to McKinsey & Company's Barcelona office in 2007 and was elected partner in 2009. He has held several management posts since then, the most recent being Head of the Consumer Operation Practice in Europe.During his time at McKinsey & Company, Dr. Jochen Großpietsch advised over 200 companies in the retail and consumer goods industry around the world on optimising their supply chains. Most of his work was centred around projects concerned with supply chain strategies, optimising the interface between functions and trade and industry as well as managing operational transformations in the areas of logistics, branch processes and in the consumer goods industry. In recent years, Dr. Jochen Großpietsch earned a reputation as an expert in digital supply chain transformations and supported businesses in building their digital capabilities and restructuring their logistics operations to meet the challenges of omni-channel commerce.
