Klaus Baumann leaving Lekkerland
Klaus Baumann, Managing Director at Lekkerland (Schweiz) AG, will be leaving the company by most amicable and mutual consent. Starting May 1, 2018 the 57 year-old managing director will be handing over his operative responsibilities to Raphael Maier, Commercial Director, and Daniel Rüegg, Director of Finance and Operations, who will function in future as Managing Directors. Raphael Maier will assume the office of Speaker of the Management Board and be in charge of the divisions Digital, Procurement, Human Resources, Communication, Marketing and Sales. Daniel Rüegg shall continue to be responsible for the Finance and Logistics divisions. Until his departure from the company at the end of the year Klaus Baumann shall continue to function as a delegate of the Supervisory Board of Lekkerland (Schweiz) AG. Prior to becoming the Managing Di-rector of Lekkerland (Schweiz) AG in 2013, he had also been involved in developing the Lekkerland growth strategy “Convenience 2020”.“I’m very pleased to have two excellent executives, Raphael Maier and Daniel Rüegg, taking over the management of Lekkerland (Schweiz) AG”, explains Patrick Steppe and that “I am certain with all of their vast experience and ideas, the future of the company will develop positively.”Raphael Maier, 35, originally came to Lekkerland in 2012 to work as head of Logistics in Switzerland. In 2015 he was appointed Director and took over responsibility for Logistics in Austria as well. In February 2017 as Commercial Director he also assumed responsibility for Sales and Marketing.Daniel Rüegg, 37, began his career at Lekkerland in 2009 starting out in the position of junior controller and was later promoted in 2011 to Head of Sales Controlling & Marketing Services. In 2013 he was appointed Head of Finance and took charge of the Finance and Controlling divisions. In February 2017 he also took control of Logistics and was promoted to Director of Finance & Operations.
