Well planned for high turnover

The range of tobacco goods in convenience shops

Depending on the type of shop (petrol stations, kiosks, specialist tobacco shops, specialist drink markets etc.), tobacco goods nowadays achieve a share of up to 50 per cent and more of the turnover. They are not only important generators of frequencies, but also offer the manager a possibility of permanently binding his customers to him.

However, the prerequisite for this is a well planned and supported range of tobacco goods. Not only cigarettes and fine cut/pipe tobaccos, but also cigarillos, cigars and smokers' accessories should also be an integrated part of the range of tobacco goods.

Lekkerland has a full range of tobacco goods with more than 7,200 articles. Alongside action offers, our customers also profit from our know-how.

The range of cigarettes
Typical cigarette buyers are consumers who are extraordinarily loyal to a brand. If their brand is not available in the shop, they buy their cigarettes and possibly also all the other things they need somewhere else.
This is why Lekkerland recommends that its customers have a standard range of about 150 articles, which should always be available, independent of the existing shelf area.

Cigars and cigarillos
Although cigarettes remain the top generators of turnover in the tobacco goods area, cigars and cigarillos have experienced a renaissance in recent years. Supported by purposeful marketing campaigns from industry, they have changed from the "old gentlemen's" image to a lifestyle product and shop offers can no longer be imagined without them. Tubos - individually packed cigars in tubes mainly made of metal - are the format for younger types of smokers as a result of their pleasant handling. Flavoured cigarillos are in demand not only with starters, but also people changing their smoking habits who would like to refine their tobacco enjoyment.
