Lekkerland Hungary appoints new Managing Director
Ferenc Haiman (38) has been appointed the new Managing Director of the Hungarian convenience wholesaler Lekkerland Magyarország KFT. The company is a subsidiary of the German Lekkerland GmbH & Co. KG, Frechen.
After his Bachelor of Science degree at the College for Foreign Trade in Budapest, he did a second degree in Corporate Management Studies in Amsterdam.
Ferenc Haiman started his professional career with the Interservice Group in Budapest in the area of haulage in 1991. After moving to Pepsi Americas International (Budapest), he had various posts in sales in the years of 1992 to 2003. His final job was coordination of the extension of sales strategies in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland as the Large Format Channel Manager for Central Europe.
Until his move to Lekkerland, he spent the last two years as the Country Manager with Indesit Company Magyarország KFT..

Lekkerland supplies 116,000 filling station shops, kiosks, convenience stores, fast-food chains, specialist tobacco goods stores, specialist drinks markets, department stores, foodstuffs markets, bakeries and canteens with a full range of sweets, drinks, snacks, convenience ranges, ice cream, deep-frozen food, fresh products, tobacco goods, telephone cards and non-food in nine European countries. The company achieved sales of 8,351 million euros in 2004 and employs 6,500 persons.
