Kay Schiebur leaves Lekkerland
Kay Schiebur, Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) of the Lekkerland AG & Co. KG, has decided not to extend his contract with Lekkerland after fifteen successful years, including nine as a board member for logistics and four years for purchasing. "This step is not a decision against Lekkerland, but it is now the right time for me for a professional reorientation," said Kay Schiebur.
The 48-year-old has decisively designed and developed the logistics of the company since 2002. Under his leadership, the strategic orientation of the European site structure was advanced and the procurement and contract logistics were implemented. Other key areas of his activity were the digitalization of the value chain from the goods disposition to the paperless delivery, and the introduction of the innovative multi-temperature logistics. In the years in which he was also responsible for Purchasing as a member of the Management Board, he focused on the reorientation of the own brand portfolio.
"The Supervisory Board and the shareholders regret and respect the decision of Kay Schiebur," said Lorenz Bresser, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. "We would like to thank him for the many years of successful cooperation and wish him all the best for his private and professional future.”
The search for a suitable successor has already started. Until this is found, Kay Schiebur will continue to serve as a board member for the Lekkerland Group.
