Michael Hoffmann hands over the position of Chief Executive Officer to Patrick Steppe
After five years as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Lekkerland Group, Michael Hoffmann has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. Patrick Steppe, who was responsible for the sales division at executive board level since the end of 2012, takes over his position with immediate effect.
Under the leadership of Michael Hoffmann, the long-term corporate strategy “Convenience 2020” was developed and the reorientation derived from it was driven forward. This allowed Lekkerland to achieve important milestones in the past years on the road to becoming a 360-degree full-service product and concept provider. This is demonstrated by the positive financial earnings performance, among other things.
“The Supervisory Board and the shareholders of Lekkerland regret the decision taken by Michael Hoffmann,” said Lorenz Bresser, chairman of Lekkerland’s Supervisory Board. “Of course, we respect his decision and thank Michael Hoffmann for the successful work he has performed during the last five years.”
Patrick Steppe has worked for Lekkerland in various positions for 16 years. “We are delighted that, with Patrick Steppe, we have been able to attract an outstanding leader to this position. He represents the strategic direction of the company and will continue on the course that has been taken,” said Lorenz Bresser.
As before, the 49-year old is supported by Chief Financial Officer Dr. Edgar Lange (CFO) and Chief Supply Chain Officer Kay Schiebur (CSCO).
