New head of IT for Lekkerland2. June 2015
As of 1 June, Christian Grotowsky (46) will take over the responsibility for the information technology of the Lekkerland Group as Senior Vice President Corporate IT of Lekkerland AG & Co. KG and Managing Director of the subsidiary Lekkerland information systems GmbH. In so doing, he succeeds Dr Michael Müller-Wünsch, who – after three years – will leave the company in summer at his own request.
The core task of Christian Grotowsky will be the transition by the company – which operates in six countries – to an internationally standardised IT environment. Lekkerland is planning to standardise technical support for its customers and to reorganise its services and technical processes on the basis of a modern IT platform. As part of the transformation project that is already underway, the company will implement a new software environment based on SAP over the coming years.
In his role, he will report directly to Dr Edgar C. Lange, CFO and executive board member of Lekkerland AG & Co. KG. “We are delighted that, with Christian Grotowsky, we have been able to recruit a very experienced manager for this position of responsibility. In particular, his expertise in implementing a strategic IT platform and developing innovative CRM solutions is a win for Lekkerland.”
Christian Grotowsky, who holds a degree in industrial engineering, brings with him a broad range of specialist IT knowledge, and he has had a successful career both in the corporate and consultancy sectors. Over the period 2007 to 2014, he was responsible as CIO for the central division of information technology of Miele & Cie. KG in Gütersloh, catering for 13,000 IT users. This included the realignment of the global IT and IT infrastructure, as well as the modernisation of centralised and decentralised logistics based on SAP solutions. From 2014, Mr Grotowsky was a member of the management at GMS – Development GmbH in Paderborn, a provider of cloud-based special solutions for customer service organisations. Positions after his degree included consultancy work in various companies, such as Droege & Comp. in Düs-seldorf.
